- Apprenticeship Training: Follow a structured learning path in IT Solutions, progressing to the L3 IT Solutions Technician standard.
- Field Work: Travel to customer sites and data centres, supporting hardware, software, and network solutions.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, handle escalations, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Commissioning Solutions: Work on the delivery and implementation of high-end IT systems.
- Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to team collaboration and enhance knowledge across the business.
Essential Skills:
- Passion for IT: An interest in IT hardware, compute architecture, storage, cloud, networks, and operating systems.
- Collaborative Mindset: Enjoy working with others to solve problems.
- Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Motivation: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to Learn: A genuine desire to build a career in IT.
Security Clearances Notes:
This role may require national security and government-level vetting, including Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks, a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, and Security Check (SC) clearance. These checks are mandatory for all employees aligned to a secure customer account that requires such security clearances, due to the sensitive nature of the work and the secure environments in which our clients operate.
As part of this process, we are required to ask about criminal record information. The level of vetting for this role is exempt from certain provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. This means that, for the purposes of security clearance, you may be required to disclose both spent and unspent convictions, cautions, or other relevant information.
Please note that individuals who are unable to obtain -or maintain- the required level of security clearance throughout their employment cannot remain in their role. This includes situations where criminal record information prevents clearance from being granted, as holding the appropriate clearance is a condition of employment.
All information you provide will be handled confidentially and in accordance with data protection legislation. It is essential that the information you provide is accurate. Knowingly withholding information relevant to the vetting process or providing information that is later found to be inaccurate, may affect your application or, if discovered after employment has begun, will lead to a review of your security clearance and potentially your continued employment.
