Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

We sell, service, repair and hire trailers, horseboxes, motorhomes, lawnmowers, quad bikes. A close-knit team working on an average size site, we are looking for an apprentice to join us.

The role typically will involve;

Assisting with servicing and maintaining trailers and agricultural equipment

  • Supporting technicians with repairs and safety inspections
  • Identifying and picking parts for workshop jobs
  • Check in deliveries and help manage stock
  • Handle basic customer enquiries
  • Maintain a safe and organised working environment
  • Understanding workshop processes and documentation

Assisting with booking in service jobs

  • Preparing and updating job cards
  • Serving customers at the counter and over the phone
  • Picking and ordering parts with greater independence
  • Supporting stock control and inventory management
  • Working closely with technicians to ensure smooth workflow

Maintaining high standards of safety and organisation

Requirements

Essential qualifications

GCSE or equivalent in:

Maths and English (grade 3-9)

Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.

Other requirements

Please note that the role is working in a work shop and when the shutters are open it can be exposed to the elements. Completely undercover but nevertheless can get cold and hot in the summer.
