Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
We sell, service, repair and hire trailers, horseboxes, motorhomes, lawnmowers, quad bikes. A close-knit team working on an average size site, we are looking for an apprentice to join us.
The role typically will involve;
Assisting with servicing and maintaining trailers and agricultural equipment
- Supporting technicians with repairs and safety inspections
- Identifying and picking parts for workshop jobs
- Check in deliveries and help manage stock
- Handle basic customer enquiries
- Maintain a safe and organised working environment
- Understanding workshop processes and documentation
Assisting with booking in service jobs
- Preparing and updating job cards
- Serving customers at the counter and over the phone
- Picking and ordering parts with greater independence
- Supporting stock control and inventory management
- Working closely with technicians to ensure smooth workflow
Maintaining high standards of safety and organisation

Essential qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:

Please note that the role is working in a work shop and when the shutters are open it can be exposed to the elements. Completely undercover but nevertheless can get cold and hot in the summer.
