Summary
As a Fabricator Technician Apprentice, you will develop the skills required to manufacture and assemble metal components and structures to exact specifications. You will work with a variety of materials and fabrication techniques, ensuring all work meets Ishida’s high standards of quality, safety, and precision.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
Depending on your experience, you will start on the Level 2 Lean Manufacturing OPerative Apprenticeship to give you the foundations to progress on to the Level 3 Metal Fabrication Apprenticeship. The training and development you receive will give you the skills, knowledge, and confidence to: Read and interpret engineering drawings Cut, form, and shape metal components Carry out welding and joining processes Assemble fabricated parts into finished products Inspect and measure components for quality Follow safe working practices at all times
