Summary
Renaker Build are seeking two apprentice construction managers to support the project and construction managers in the safe and timely delivery of projects to the required quality standards. You will develop your skills and build knowledge of construction techniques and on site processes.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- To assist in the implementation of the health and safety plan, carry out safety inspections and ensure management of safe site access and egress routes
- To assist in the delivery of relevant sections programmes and milestones
- To implement the company QA procedures and ensure works meet quality standards and specifications
- To verify work is being carried out in a way that is compliant with the latest design drawings
- To check the ordering of materials
- To assess progress and productivity and implement action for improvement
- To help implement the environment plan within the section/project
- To focus on the elimination of waste within the area of control and implement good housekeeping
- To provide effective management of the operative staff
- To monitor the performance of the trades against their roles and responsibilities
- To ensure all employees are suitably inducted, trained and certificated prior to starting on site with ongoing training assessments carried out
- To develop, update and report on key performance indicators (KPI’s) for critical trades

What you'll learn
Course contents
- Identify risk of activities and encourage all employees to demonstrate safety-conscious behaviours.
- Assess, identify and record the environmental impact of projects.
- Assist in the implementation of the most appropriate solutions for construction projects.
- Use effective management principles and be able to supervise construction workers.
- Understand overall plan for project and measure and record progress against plan.
- Assess and report on quality standards and assist in commissioning of finished construction projects.
- Understand financial and legal constraints and measure and record progress against budget.
Training schedule
You will attend Future Skills College one day per week at Future Skills College M50 2PU

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
- English (grade A-C/9-4)
- Maths (grade A-C/9-4)
Other in:
Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.

- Level 3 Qualifications Considered: Min 3 A-levels in STEM Subjects, T- Level in Construction subjects or Level 3 apprenticeship in Construction subject
