Summary

White Box Interiors is offering an apprenticeship opportunity for a Trainee Contracts Manager to support the delivery of interior fit-out projects. The role provides hands-on experience in site coordination, subcontractor management, cost control, and project administration while working alongside experienced professionals.

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • Monitoring site progress and supporting site teams with coordination and logistics
  • Assisting with contract documentation, variations, and valuations
  • Supporting health & safety compliance and quality control on site
  • Attending site meetings and contributing to project reporting
  • Gaining hands-on experience across multiple stages of live projects
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery

What you'll learn

Course contents
  • Identify risk of activities and encourage all employees to demonstrate safety-conscious behaviours.
  • Assess, identify and record the environmental impact of projects.
  • Assist in the implementation of the most appropriate solutions for construction projects.
  • Use effective management principles and be able to supervise construction workers.
  • Understand overall plan for project and measure and record progress against plan.
  • Assess and report on quality standards and assist in commissioning of finished construction projects.
  • Understand financial and legal constraints and measure and record progress against budget.
