The successful candidate will be working alongside experienced Lifting Deck Fitters assembling all types of Rigid Bodies and Trailers.

Wage

£14,526.20 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • Assist in the assembly and fitting of lifting deck systems for trailers and rigid bodies
  • Learn to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment safely
  • Prepare and position components for lifting deck installation
  • Carry out quality checks and report any defects
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Complete off-the-job training and portfolio work as part of the apprenticeship program
