Summary

As part of this apprenticeship, you will learn how to maintain the equipment and facilities necessary to keep the market leading truck factory at peak condition. Working as part of a multifunctional maintenance team you will learn how to carry out both scheduled and none scheduled electrical/mechanical maintenance on the plant and equipment.

£19,200 a year

A competitive starting salary from £19,200 increasing to £26,771 in Year 2 and then continuing to increase annually.

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • As part of this apprenticeship, you will learn how to maintain the equipment and facilities necessary to keep the market leading truck factory at peak condition
  • Exposure to all aspects of scheduled and non-scheduled electrical/mechanical maintenance on plant and equipment
  • Working as part of a multifunctional maintenance team you will learn how to carry out both scheduled and none scheduled electrical/mechanical maintenance on the plant and equipment i.e cranes & lifting equipment, control systems, & pneumatic tooling

  • 4 Year Apprenticeship
  • Level 4 HNC in Engineering and a Mechatronics Apprenticeship Standard
  • Training 2000 on an initial 12-month release followed by day release

  • Science (grade 4)
