What you'll do at work
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Sustainability Support:
- Assist the Group Head of Sustainability Curriculum in implementing the Group’s sustainability strategy
- Carry out research on sustainability topics to support projects and campaigns, ensuring data gathered is accurate
- Help build and maintain positive working relationships with Eastern Education Group staff and stakeholders
- Support the planning and delivery of sustainability events, including preparation, organisation, delivery on the day and post-event follow-up
Project Management:
- Support project planning activities by helping to define tasks, organise resources, update project schedules and maintain project documentation in line with recognised project management processes
- Monitor and report on project progress by gathering data, identifying risks or delays and escalating issues appropriately to the Group Head of Sustainability to support effective decision‑making
Marketing and Communications:
- Contribute to promoting sustainability courses and initiatives internally and externally
- Support the creation of simple marketing materials such as posters, flyers and digital assets
- Assist with managing social media activity by scheduling posts, sharing content and monitoring engagement
- Capture photos or short videos at events for use in marketing and communications
- Help update and maintain sustainability content on the Group’s Sustainabitliy website pages
- Maintain and update databases of contacts, partner and event attendees
- Collect and organise basic marketing metrics (e.g. social media engagement, event attendance) to feed into reports

- Monitor and analyse project budgets.
- Review and provide feedback on a project business case to ensure the project remains valid.
- Apply change control processes to support the management of project scope.
- Evaluate an integrated project management plan to provide recommendations on areas for improvement.
- Prepare, monitor, and schedule activities that contribute to the delivery of the overall project schedule and objectives.
- Evaluate and make recommendations on the risk management plan to threats to delivery and recommend solutions.
- Identify and monitor project risks and issues; and plan and implement responses to them.
- Deliver a Quality Management Plan which contributes to quality control processes.
- Use an organisation’s continual improvement process including lessons learned to improve performance.
- Support the preparation or maintenance of a resource management plan for project activities.

- Use digital tools and software to meet project objectives for example research, collaboration, presentations, and resolution of problems.
- Provide underpinning data to support the written submission through the governance process.
- Work within the approved project budget.
- Ensure that integrated schedules support critical path analysis, interface management, resource forecasting and risk management.
- Apply relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and ethical guidance where appropriate to their work.
- Use data to inform decisions on actions to take to mitigate risks on project.
- Use configuration management and change control to schedule and maintain projects.
- Manages resources through the project lifecycle.

The learner will be studying the Associate Project Manager Level 4 Apprenticeship Standard qualification
Requirements
Essential qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:
Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.

Other requirements
As we now operate as a collective Eastern Education Group you may be from time to time required to undertake any of the requirements of your role for any of our Group organisations. An understanding of Sustainability and experience using social media for communication is essential.
