Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Support the supply of vehicle parts and accessories to trade customers
- Assist in identifying correct parts using electronic parts catalogues
- Help process trade orders via phone, email, and trade systems
- Prepare parts for collection and delivery to trade customers
- Assist with goods-in, checking deliveries, and storing stock correctly
- Support stock control activities, including stock checks and stock rotation
- Maintain accurate records for orders, returns, and credits
- Provide a professional and friendly service to trade customers

Training schedule
Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard:
- The programme typically lasts 12-14 months dependant on the career path chosen and you'll achieve a nationally recognised qualification
- Block training is complemented by a combination of regular coaching visits from one of our experienced coaches as well as Virtual Classroom sessions and E-Learning modules
- You will attend week-long block training at our state-of-the-art Porsche Training Centre in Slough
- Please ensure you have copies of your GCSE, Scottish National (if applicable), and Functional Skills certificates, as we may request to see them during the application process
