- This is an exciting opportunity to join a very successful livery, breeding and competition centre in Devon, with plenty of variety available from helping at events to helping with the stallions to riding (for the right candidate ) .

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
All general yard duites :
- Mucking out / keeping yard tidy
- Turning in and out
- Filling haynets/ water buckets
- Making feeds
- Grooming / picking out feet
- Tacking up
- Helping Stallions / Mares and foals
- Riding available for right candidate
- Helping at Events

All training will be provided on site during your paid working hours. Your day to day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach
Level 2 Equine Groom apprenticeship, including Functional Skills in English and maths if required

- There is no accommodation available with this position so please make sure you can get to and from the location daily before applying .
- This position is for candidates aged 16-21 and requires the candidate to already have good basic equine experience as you will be handling Stallions and youngstock.
- There is the possibility of livery for own horse .
