What you'll do at work

Job Title: Marketing Apprentice – B2B Growth & Sales Enablement

Reports to: Marketing Manager / Business Development Lead

Location: Hybrid (London HQ + remote)

Contract: Apprenticeship (Level 3 or Level 4 Marketing Standard)

Purpose of the Role:

To support our recruitment agency's growth strategy by executing B2B marketing activities that generate qualified leads, nurture relationships, and deliver compelling weekly sales presentations to targeted Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) via Zoom.

Key Responsibilities

Pipeline Development:

  • Research and segment 7 ICP profiles (e.g., NHS Trusts, private hospitals, care home groups, local authorities, insurance providers, multi-national clinics, pharmaceutical groups)
  • Build and maintain prospect lists using CRM tools and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Execute outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn, phone) to book discovery calls and demos

Marketing Execution:

  • Create and schedule B2B content (blogs, LinkedIn posts, email campaigns) aligned with Place Medical’s brand and People First ethos
  • Support paid and organic campaigns to drive traffic and engagement
  • Track campaign performance and report on KPIs (open rates, click-through, conversions)

Sales Presentation Delivery:

  • Prepare and deliver one high-quality “one-to-many” Zoom presentation per week showcasing Place Medical’s recruitment services
  • Tailor presentations to ICP needs, highlighting ROI, compliance, and service excellence
  • Collect feedback and refine messaging for continuous improvement

Collaboration & Learning:

  • Work closely with the Business Development team to align marketing and sales goals
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and contribute ideas for growth
  • Complete apprenticeship learning modules and apply knowledge to live projects

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills (comfortable speaking to groups online)
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail in content creation.
  • Tech-savvy: proficient in Zoom, CRM systems, and social media platforms
  • Analytical approach to measuring campaign success
  • Proactive, organized, and eager to learn

Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (English and maths) or equivalent
  • Interest in marketing, sales, and healthcare recruitment
  • No prior experience required; training provided through apprenticeship

Salary & Benefits:

  • Competitive Apprenticeship Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 per annum (depending on experience and location)

What you'll learn

Course contents
  • Coordinate and maintain key marketing channels (both digital and offline)
  • Plan and deliver tactical campaigns against SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Time-bound) objectives
  • Manage the production and distribution of marketing materials, e.g. digital, print and video content as appropriate
  • Produce a wide range of creative and effective communications, including ability to write and proofread clear and innovative copy, project briefs, and give confident presentations
  • Able to engage and collaborate with a wide range of clients/stakeholders, across departments internally and with clients/suppliers externally to support marketing outcomes as required
  • Use good project and time management to deliver projects/tasks/events as appropriate, effectively. Including the ability to divide time effectively between reporting, planning and delivery
  • Coordinate several marketing campaigns/projects/events to agreed deadlines
  • Effectively liaise with, and manage, internal and external stakeholders including suppliers to deliver required outcomes
  • Monitor project budgets within their scope of work using appropriate systems and controls
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns by choosing the appropriate digital and offline data sources
  • Assimilate and analyse data and information from a range of sources to support marketing activities
  • Evaluate data and research findings to derive insights to support improvements to future campaigns
  • Effectively use appropriate business systems and software to deliver marketing outcomes efficiently, for example to analyse data, produce reports and deliver copy
  • Use appropriate technologies to deliver marketing outcomes e.g. digital/web analytics, social media, CRM

Training schedule

  • Training is 100% remote but at least 1 day in person will be arranged for those who would like it
  • It will either be at our London office or at another mutually convenient location
