Summary
We’re looking for three enthusiastic Apprentice Teaching Assistants. As an Apprentice Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with class teachers to support teaching and learning in the classroom. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop valuable skills, and make a real difference in children’s education every day.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
The right candidate will communicate using the same language, values, and expectations as our teaching staff to ensure that students experience a consistent and cohesive approach throughout their learning journey.

- Use up to date technology safely, to support learning.
- Encourage safe use of technology by learners.
- Adapt teaching strategies to support all learners (for example, scaffolding, open questioning).
- Identify and respond to pastoral and academic behaviours in learners.
- Provide feedback to learners.

Training schedule
Provider: Halesowen College
Location: Bishop Milner Catholic College
Duration: 18 months
Delivery Model: Blended learning – day release at Halesowen College, on-the-job training, and regular assessor visits on site.
