Work

What you'll do at work

Content Creation:

  • Manage social media profiles such as Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok & Instagram
  • Monitor and report on social media campaigns
  • Image - Creation and editing using Photoshop, InDesign and/or Illustrator
  • Copy - Writing compelling copy
  • Video  - Recording and editing using Premier pro
  • Ensure the content and format adhere to brand guidelines
  • Assist with branding, design and content for presentations and proposals

Web:

  • Manage website

What you'll learn

Course contents
  • Develop or interpret briefs for external or internal stakeholders and measure delivery in-line with the specification and agreed timelines
  • Plan and coordinate a marketing activity using marketing tactics to acquire and retain one or more customer segments using available resources.
  • Contribute to the generation of innovative and creative approaches across video, images, and other formats, both online and offline, to support campaign development.
  • Use research/survey software to gather audience insight and/or evaluation to support the project.
  • Use copywriting techniques to write persuasive text/copy to meet a communications objective ensuring it is in-line with organisational brand guidelines.
  • Build and implement multi-channel campaigns across a variety of platforms, either offline or digital media.
  • Proofread marketing copy ensuring it is accurate, persuasive and is on brand.
  • Use software to design and create marketing assets to meet the technical specification.
  • Contribute to the research of external suppliers to support recommendations and procurement of marketing goods and services.
  • Organise offline and digital assets ensuring they are co-ordinated and legally compliant.
  • Use a website content management system to publish text, images, and video/animated content.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets to support marketing activities such as project/budget planning and organisation of marketing assets.
  • Use technology and software packages to support day to day activities, e.g., stakeholder communications, development of briefs, data analysis, report writing, presentations and project management.
  • Identify and use data and technologies to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Monitor and amend campaigns to meet budget requirements including time and monetary costs.
  • Review campaigns regularly to ensure effectiveness, to optimise the results.

Training schedule

  • An apprenticeship includes regular training with Creative Process Digital based in Brighton
  • At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying

  • A Multi-Channel Marketer (level 3) will learn how to effectively manage and execute marketing strategies across various channels. It suits those who want to develop skills in areas like content creation, campaign management, and data analysis
  • The programme is well-suited for graduates, marketing and comms assistants, marketing administrators, social media assistants and those looking to enhance their marketing expertise
  • The training includes one study day per week. One of those study days per month is in person at the Creative Process Training Centre in Brighton

As a Digital Marketing Apprentice, you’ll assist the marketing team with day-to-day activities, including:

  • Supporting and executing social media campaigns across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, etc.)
  • Creating, scheduling, and optimising content for digital channels (blogs, newsletters, ads, and social media posts)
  • Assisting with email marketing campaigns and audience segmentation
  • Helping manage and improve our clients website SEO and Google Business profile
  • Analysing campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Meta Business Suite
  • Assisting in creating marketing materials such as graphics, case studies, and promotional content
  • Collaborating with the design, development, and sales teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging
  • Researching competitors, market trends, and potential partnership opportunities

Skills & Qualities We’re Looking For:

  • A passion for digital marketing and technology
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms, SEO, or Google Ads (training provided)
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail
    Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred basic (but not essential)

  • Familiarity with Canva, WordPress, or HubSpot
  • Understanding of Google Analytics or Meta Ads Manager
    Previous coursework or experience in marketing, business, or media

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

  • English (grade A - C or 4 - 9)
  • Maths (grade A - C or 4 - 9)

A Level in:

Any (grade A*-C)
