Summary
From day one, you’ll be employed and working on live construction sites, gaining practical experience in site supervision and contract delivery. You’ll work closely with Site Managers, Contract Managers, and the Regional Operational Manager to support the safe, efficient, and compliant running of our operations.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
As an Apprentice Site Manager, you’ll support the operational team in achieving performance objectives and continuous improvement.
Key areas of development include:
Health & Safety: Support risk assessments and safe working practices. Promote high standards of safe behaviour.
Environmental: Assist with environmental procedures and resource-saving initiatives.
Quality & Compliance: Work with technical teams to ensure quality standards and compliance with legislation.
Operations: Contribute to production efficiency and support site performance.
Training & Development: Attend structured training sessions, complete apprenticeship documentation, and undertake a site-relevant project.
Professional Skills: Develop communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership capabilities.

- Identify risk of activities and encourage all employees to demonstrate safety-conscious behaviours.
- Assess, identify and record the environmental impact of projects.
- Assist in the implementation of the most appropriate solutions for construction projects.
- Use effective management principles and be able to supervise construction workers.
- Understand overall plan for project and measure and record progress against plan.
- Assess and report on quality standards and assist in commissioning of finished construction projects.
- Understand financial and legal constraints and measure and record progress against budget.
