Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
As an Apprentice Spring Maker, you will:
- Learn how to set up, adjust spring manufacturing machines and run a production job under the guidance of experienced professionals
- Hand-coil certain parts as needed
- Support the production team with various tasks, including setting up machines, packing parts, and grinding
- Develop an in-depth understanding of spring manufacturing processes
- Work closely with skilled setters and engineers to gain hands-on experience
