We are looking for motivated individuals who want to build upon their higher education qualifications and have a passion for the built environment.

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • Responsible for assisting in the management of live projects
  • Assisting our front-end site installation teams in delivering complex fit out schemes to the highest standards
  • Assisting with the preparation and reporting of inspections and test plans
  • Assisting with the production and recording of site diaries
  • Assisting with the preparation of site progress
  • Responsible for working with projects directors to identify opportunities to improve processes on future projects

What you'll learn

Course contents
  • Identify risk of activities and encourage all employees to demonstrate safety-conscious behaviours.
  • Assess, identify and record the environmental impact of projects.
  • Assist in the implementation of the most appropriate solutions for construction projects.
  • Use effective management principles and be able to supervise construction workers.
  • Understand overall plan for project and measure and record progress against plan.
  • Assess and report on quality standards and assist in commissioning of finished construction projects.
  • Understand financial and legal constraints and measure and record progress against budget.

Requirements

Essential qualifications

GCSE or equivalent in:

  • English Language (grade 4)
  • Maths (grade 4)

A Level in:

Construction and the Built Environment (grade C)

Other requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have/or be expected to gain 3 A-levels or other level 3 qualifications (such as BTEC Diplomas). This role is predominantly based on various London Sites (within the M25). However, travel to our Head Office in Basildon, Essex will be required on a regular basis.
