Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individual students and small groups under the direction of the class teacher
- Assist in the delivery of targeted interventions to accelerate student progress
- Promote inclusion and help ensure all students have equal access to learning
- Build positive relationships with students to support their social and academic development
- Provide feedback on student progress to staff and relevant stakeholders
- Support the preparation of classroom resources and contribute to lesson planning
- Uphold the safeguarding and wellbeing of all students
- Contribute to the wider school life through extracurricular and enrichment activities
