Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

Day to day, the default position of this role will be on sales and lead generation. However, when the customer service function becomes busy and needs support, then this role will quickly step in, and provide support to customer services.

Our current team is small, friendly, good humoured and we all work together with the same goal. This position offers structure, industry training, longevity, and commission opportunities. The role is office based.

The role of sales support involves lead generation, pre-screening of prospective companies by telephone, gathering essential information, recording information on our CRM, communicating by email, and setting up appointments and calls for the dedicated sales staff. We are seeking someone that can confidently pick up the phone, be articulate, intelligent, and qualify. This is not a typical ‘dial and sell’ role. We ask questions and take a consultative approach. This role acts as a support to the roles of the dedicated sales staff, sourcing leads and playing a very important role in the growth of the business.

For customer service support, duties here involve dealing with shipping queries and questions, pricing and quoting, tracking, collection and account queries.

Full one to one training will be provided but there must be a willingness to learn and do well. This role will be highly rewarding and will play a key part in the continued growth of the business.
