Summary

We're offering a placement for 2 Apprentices who would like the knowledge and experience of working in a manufacturing environment. This position would cover a range of aspects of Manufacturing including manual tasks, Machine Operating etc. The apprentice will help the smooth running of the Cutting shop and ensure the processes run effectively.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

  • Operate and use various plant machines
  • Understand and follow department processes
  • Understanding job cards, following procedure
  • Taking part in Quality checks and assessments
  • Working with other team members

  • Each current team member will help the apprentice to gain knowledge of all machines and processes
  • Most training will be provided in the workshops, more hands-on training.
  • Training will be 5 days per week, time off from shop floors to complete admin work for their qualification
  • L2 Lean Manufacturing Operative qualification after completion

GCSE in:

  • English and Maths (grade 4)
