As a Web Content & Ecommerce Apprentice your day to day tasks will include converting visual mock-ups into HTML/CSS , managing website content and SEO, you will also be required to manage and maintain a number of different sites. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to develop their web content and ecommerce career.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Converting visual mock-ups into HTML/CSS
  • Assist with the maintenance of e-commerce websites
  • Monitoring website content and editing and uploading material as required
  • Installing and adapting website themes and setting up page content
  • Using google products such a Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics
  • Learning and using the latest Web technologies CSS, JQuery, HTML 5
  • Developing and maintaining custom codes
  • Web admin duties (particularly with HTML, CSS and PHP)
  • Content development for Blogs (particularly with CMS such as WordPress)
  • Conducting keyword and competitor research
  • Maintain and Develop company Website
  • Email marketing and analysis

Training provider

The Estio Training IT Apprenticeship programme gives young people the opportunity to get experience in the IT industry whilst still employed in a real paid job with no cost or debt.

Learners will receive eight weeks of intensive training. Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive continual assessment, and help and guidance from a dedicated trainer who will be there to ensure that they get the most from their work experience.

Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.30 per hour (From October 1st 2016 this will be increasing by 3% to £3.40 per hour). This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
