This employer is situated in Polhill within the garden centre. They are seeking an enthusiastic, self motivated apprentice to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to start a career in hospitality and catering.

The successful applicant will be trained in the larder section of the kitchen.

The Apprentice will be responsible for the daily preparation of all baguettes, sandwiches, paninis and freshly made to order pizza.

This is a daytime only position and does not involve evening shifts.

As knowledge grows, the responsibilities will also grow leading to further opportunities within the company.

40hrs per week is made up of shift work, with 5 days on and 2 days off per week. There is NO evening work

Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.30 per hour (From October 1st 2016 this will be increasing by 3% to £3.40 per hour). This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
