About the employer

We established Nick’s Restaurant back in 2001, bringing a bit of culinary flair and metropolitan flavour to a small corner of Chorley Old Road. Following the success of Nick’s Restaurant, we opened Nick’s at Chequerbent in January 2012 with head chef Andrew Higson, who has worked alongside Nick for over 12 years.

We pride ourselves on using fresh, seasonal and local produce to create an eclectic menu and a selection of weekly ‘Specials’, taking inspiration from traditional favourites. Nick’s at Chequerbent also boast a wonderful bar and lounge area so just pop in for a cocktail or one of our local guest ales!

By working with local suppliers, trades-people, charities and schools we aim to ensure that Nick’s Restaurant and Nick’s at Chequerbent play an important role in the community in which we live.
