Things to consider

The hospitality industry is a fun industry to be part of, however it can be hard and demanding work. You will be on your feet most of the time and will be expected to work evenings and some weekends. You should think about your location and whether you can get to and from your place of work, particularly if working shifts.

About the employer

We are fiercely proud of the food we serve at ‘the Welly’. We use as many regional suppliers as we can in order to obtain the best raw materials and the freshest ingredients. Every dish is then created and cooked on the premises and we are very proud to have been awarded one rosette from the AA for each of the past three years.

We don’t believe in doing fussy and complicated things with these delicious ingredients, but instead would rather they were treated with love, brought to the table just as they should be and complimented by our amazing wines. We are fortunate to have a close relationship with Chester Osborn – d’Arenberg winemaker extraordinaire – so our wine list includes the whole d’Arenberg collection, plus a few other chosen wines from across the world!
