Summary

The company is looking to recruit 2 Fabrication and Welding Apprentices to work on a variety of functions in the Nuclear Engineering Industry. You will be involved with the fabrication of metals such as stainless, duplex, carbon as well as work with a variety of procedures such as TIG, MAG, FCAW. Duties include: working with a wide range of thicknesses of plates and sections, and working with electric or manual hand tools as required to support the job.

Annual wage
£15,225 a year

The pay may be negotiated and may rise after a probation period has been successfully completed.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • This is a Level 3 Engineering Technician Apprenticeship - Technical Support pathway, delivered over a period of 3 years

The apprentice will be required to attend the training centre, In-Comm Training Services in Aldridge, Walsall, WS9 8UG, on a full time basis for the first 12 months as part of the training.
