    £17,000 annual salary, You will be paid a monthly salary which will rise incrementally on completion of your Level 3 & 4 qualifications.

    Working Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm (including a 60 minute lunch break).

What you will do in your working day

Roles and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following;

  • ​As an Apprentice, you will be working towards your Level 3 Assistant Accountant qualification (AAT), so this will involve both on the job learning as well as attending college 1 day per week. 
  • You will be given the opportunity to participate in your own development plan, under the discretion of an experienced mentor.
  • Tasks will include things such as financial administration duties, creating, verifying and reviewing accurate and timely financial information, understanding business systems and building your knowledge of financial processes, compliance and regulation.
  • ​Whilst in your time at college, you will also learn things such as technical knowledge, business awareness, ethical standards, financial analysis, management accounting, budgeting and financial reporting.

The training you will be getting

Assistant Accountant, Level 3

Fortnightly Attendance at Riverside College, Widnes. 

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

You may have the opportunity to apply for internal roles within the company as these arise.

NVQ or SVQ Level 2 or equivalent AAT Qualification (Grade Level 2 Pass) Essential
