This role will be focusing on supporting maintenance engineers, working with electrical, electronics, PLC, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding and general mechanical engineering. Duties will include planned preventative maintenance, servicing and inspection of plant, attending breakdowns, fault diagnosis and repairs.

The training you will be getting

This is a level 3 Engineering Technician apprenticeship (Mechatronics pathway) delivered over a period of four years.


You will be required to attend the training centre, In-Comm Training Services in Aldridge WS9 8UG, Part time where you will attend the training centre for 2.5 days a week for 2 years and the rest will be at Fisher Leak Systems. 

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

This individual can carry onto Level 4 or 5 if that's the desired path of the candidate. Fisher Leak also offers individuals with drive and determination to progress into leadership or design roles.
