We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Wood Machinist. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about manufacturing and eager to learn the intricacies of the trade. As an apprentice, you will have the chance to work alongside experienced craftsmen, honing your skills and knowledge.

Annual wage
£12,979.20 a year

Monday to Thursday - 7:30am - 4:30pm Friday 7:30am - 12:30pm

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

During your Standard Level 2 Furniture Manufacturer apprenticeship programme you will receive training both off and on the job. You will be trained at the employer within the workplace, and on day release at WEBS Training Ltd, in Beeston, Nottingham. You will learn the underpinning knowledge that runs alongside your practical elements of the training. WEBS Training aim to build on the skills you already have so you reach your full potential both personally and professionally.

Training will be provided in all areas of wood machining to ensure you are capable of creating practical and bespoke furniture using both traditional and modern techniques and materials to produce aesthetically pleasing and fit for purpose products.

If you have already achieved GCSE maths and English at Grade 4/C or above or have equivalent qualification you will be exempt from undertaking Functional Skills, however English and maths support will be provided for all apprentices throughout the length of their programme.
