What you will do in your working day

  • Reception duties including welcoming visitors, answering the telephone and responding to routine queries.
  • General clerical and administrative support, including word processing, collating information i.e. reports, and reprographics, filing/archiving, distributing mail, postage, room bookings, lost property and other tasks as required.
  • Maintaining and updating manual and computerised records.
  • Maintaining stock and ordering supplies, checking of incoming deliveries, the distribution and storage of stock.
  • Assisting with the preparation and running of school events. General pupil welfare support, where required, including liaison with staff and parents. Support to other members of the SLT with their activities

The training you will be getting

  • Level 3 Business Administrator qualification
  • 6hrs per week off-the-job training
  • A Learning Mentor with on-the-job training.
