What you will do in your working day

  • Daily filing of orders and location of relevant patient files
  • Printing all orders forms from order inbox
  • Working on an in house database processing orders
  • Scanning in paperwork
  • Answering the phone and dealing with customer queries
  • Ensure both team and individual Service Level and KPIs are met
  • Any other duties as required. This may involve assisting other teams with their duties when staff are shorthanded.

The training you will be getting

  • The qualification will be a Level 3 in Business Administration
  • No weekly release day in to college
  • Monthly workshop at our Little Germany campus
  • Assessor will visit the workplace every 4-6 weeks
  • All assignments will be set online
  • 6 hours every week 'off the job' hours (will still be in the workplace)

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Hopefully to stay on permanently in the team and build technical understanding of the products we manufacture to be able to deal with technical queries

Things to consider

Please be aware that apprentices will be involved of the unpacking of stock etc., which will include some plaster dust from casts. You will also be expected to 'muck in' with the rest of the team . Please ensure you are willing to do this, you are reliable, you have a 'can do' attitude and you are committed to the role.
