What you will do in your working day

Responsibilities:

  • Create 3D models of steel and aluminium structures using Tekla Structures.
  • Create General Arrangement drawings for internal and client review.
  • Create detailed fabrication drawings that fabricators can manufacture that structure to.
  • Meet project requirements in collaboration with other disciplines.
  • Liaise closely in house with the team and work to agreed delivery programs.
  • Review project files for compliance with standards/protocols and implement best practice procedure.

Delivery Method

  • Apprentices will have day release to attend Loughborough College once a week during term time. Whilst at College, apprentices will be taught specific set units that will support their development within the role.
