What you will do in your working day

Advance Display Solutions is on the lookout for a dedicated Apprentice Machinist to become a key player in our dynamic team. This full-time, position not only promises a clear path for career advancement but also offers the opportunity to significantly influence the company's future.

The ideal candidate will embark on a Machining Technician apprenticeship, with the unique chance to delve into plastic fabrication and digital printing. You'll engage in a diverse range of tasks including:

  • Line bending
  • Creating point-of-sale displays
  • Signage production
  • Digital printing mastery
  • CNC machine operation and programming (experience with Vectric is a plus)
  • Vinyl cutting and application, including printing and wrapping
  • Prototyping innovative designs
  • Vacuum forming techniques
  • Toolmaking expertise
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM operations
  • Utilising Adobe Illustrator for design purposes

The training you will be getting

You'll be studying at the Innovation & Technology, one day a week at Milton Keynes College for the Machining Apprenticeship.
