This is a great opportunity to join an independent family owned business, working alongside time served professionals. The company manufactures compression, extension and torsion springs in a purpose built factory, designed to allow the most number of orders to flow seamlessly through all stages of production.

Annual wage
£12,979.20 a year

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Level 2 Engineering Operative Apprenticeship Standard, including Functional Skills in maths and English, if required.
  • Tech cert: This programme includes an EAL Level 2 Diploma in Engineering Operations (Skills)

This programme is delivered via a day-release delivery model which means that one day per week, your attendance is required at our Engineering campus, NG17. This attendance is required during term time only.

  • You will work with expert assessors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession.
  • You will experience a blended learning model.
  • You will gather learning evidence, journals and off-the-job records using your e-portfolio.
  • At the end of the planned learning period, it will be agreed that you are ready to enter 'Gateway' and for your End Point Assessment to be arranged.
