    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

    Monday - Friday, shifts to be confirmed. 45 hours per week if 18 or above, 25 days holiday, plus statutory holidays.

What you will do in your working day

  • Valuable practical experience in an industry where qualified engineers are in demand
  • Working with mechanical and electro/hydraulic systems
  • Servicing and maintaining an expanding hire fleet of modern truck-mounted powered access machinery

The training you will be getting

  • Training provided - Lift Truck and Powered Access Engineering Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification
  • Training will be delivered by F-Tec based in Swindon
  • 6 x 1 week blocks per year
  • Travel and accommodation will be provided
  • Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Completion of this apprenticeship can lead to progression into a range of engineering roles whether they be depot based or mobile
