What you will do in your working day

Playworkers work in a range of play settings offering different models of play work. The purpose of our curriculum is to support playworkers to develop into positive, flexible and team-focused members of staff, and to support them to provide the best possible provision for the children in their care.

The training you will be getting

NVQ Level 2 Playworker qualification.

Level 2 Functional skills in Maths and English, if required

Blended on/off the job training and location to be confirmed

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

-Progress within your setting as a supervisor or manager
-Work as a play work development officer for a local authority
-Move into a school as a Teaching Assistant
-Move into an Early Years setting and proceed with an Early Years Educator Level 3 apprenticeship
