What you will do in your working day

Undertaking onboarding and general administration activities following our processes. This includes but is not limited to; producing correspondence such as offers of employment and worker agreements using our HR system Workday, verifying and issuing employment references, conducting online and in-person right to work checks.

Checking new starters complete all onboarding requirements and tasks on Workday, liaising with starters, the recruitment team or managers as required, and accordingly moving the starter through the Hire process on Workday. 

Managing day to day queries from starters or our employees (through a busy shared email mailbox or face-to-face interactions), and providing guidance on various areas of HR (i.e. benefits, policies and procedures).

Making recommendations to improve HR processes and procedures.  

The training you will be getting

Upon successful completion, you will receive a HR Support – Level 3 Standard aprpenticeship qualification. 

This will be completed through Crosby Management Training through 1 day a week off-the-job to have time to dedicate to your studies. 

The training schedule has yet to be agreed upon, further details will be made available at a later date.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

HR Professionals working at this level are typically either working in a medium to large organisation as part of the HR function delivering front-line support to managers and employees after completing this qualification.
