What you will do in your working day

  • Working as part of a Plate Welding team.
  • General assembly of refrigeration, cryogenic and pure-water systems.
  • Brazing and soldering of copper pipework and connections.
  • Stainless steel tube and plate welding.
  • Testing and finishing of manufactured products prior to despatch.
  • Occasional site visits to support senior service engineers.

Things to consider

The role will be based at our modern, well equipped Willand factory, with the possibility of on-site work at customers' sites in the UK and abroad as part of our installation and commissioning team. We are looking for an all-round, hands-on, practically minded Engineer, who relishes the opportunity to learn a variety of skills and enjoys a challenge. You will be working with our established team, producing machinery for globally-recognised companies, and will be changing the world with New Technological advancements. The successful candidate will be expected to attend college on a regular basis, in addition we will provide on-the-job training. Over time, we expect them to develop a wide range of technical skills in this diverse and exciting role.
