Swedish Event rider and BHS accredited coach Anna Hilton is looking for an enthusiastic and cheerful groom to join the team. As well as all the normal yard duties there are also plenty of opportunities to attend shows and riding for the right candidate.

Annual wage
£13,312 a year

The pay may be negotiated and may rise after a probation period has been successfully completed.

Training course
Equine groom (level 2)
Working hours are 7.30am - 5.00pm , 5 days a week with a breakfast and lunch break, expect to work 1 weekend day per week.

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Equine groom Level 2 apprenticeship standard qualification.
  • Functional Skills in maths and English, if required.
  • The successful candidate can expect to undertake a minimum of 12 months' training which will take place out at the employer's premises, with the support of the employer, and will be carried out by Haddon Training.
