Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Support and promote children's early education and development
Contribute to the planning and organisation of activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage - Support the collection of accurate and up-to-date records which identify children's individual needs, abilities and progress
- Develop effective and informed practice
- Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
- Work in partnership with the key person, colleagues, parents or carer and other professionals

About this company
Glenangles offers full and part time places for children aged 6 months to rising 5’s. We are a small and friendly setting providing individual and high-quality care. After this apprenticeship
- As an experienced nursery worker, you could specialise in working with children who have difficulties with learning, physical disabilities, or needs support with their mental health
- Early Years Lead Practitioner higher apprenticeship to move on to
