What you will do in your working day

The Service Advisor's main duties will include:

Being responsible for setting customer expectations.
Keeping in touch with the customer throughout the service or repair of their vehicle.
Upselling potential work.
Follow-up with the customer to ensure they are happy with the work carried out.
Answering telephone enquiries.
Responding to emails with suppliers and customers.

The training you will be getting

Hull College will deliver the Apprenticeship Standard Business Administrator Level 3. Training schedule has yet to be agreed. Details will be made available at a later date. 

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

On completion of the apprenticeship we would expect there to be a position available as a Service Advisor, or possibly a Parts Advisor if the candidate wants to move in that direction. The starting salary for a Service Advisor is £26.5k plus bonus.
