Summary

We have had countless apprentices over the 29 years of business many of which are still here. Our longest serving apprentice has been with us for 28 years and started at 16 years old. We are looking for someone with the same passion and motivation to join the team at Micra Truck Bodies.

Annual wage
£13,312 to £23,795.20 a year

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Engineering Operative Level 2 apprenticeship Standard qualification delivered at Castleford College on a day-release basis. 
  • Functional Skills maths and English if required, delivered on a block release basis at Castleford or Selby College.

Other requirements

The job is very physical and does involve a lot of heavy lifting. It is generally a clean environment but some jobs can be dirty like repairs but we provide overalls.
