What you will do in your working day

  • Sales Order Input – Processing customer orders, ensuring correct a/c number, dispatch date, delivery address, price, quantity etc.
  • Answering incoming calls – quoting customers, answering general enquiries (lead time, availability, stock etc.) transferring calls to relevant colleagues
  • Day to day office duties – Dealing with visitors to the premises, generating & sending invoices, responding to inbound emails, communicating with customers to resolve problems that arise, co-ordinating with other departments to ensure customer needs are met.
  • All other administration and ad-hoc duties as required.

  • Advanced Business Administrator apprenticeship standard
  • Monthly workshops with delivery either online or face to face 
  • 1:1 support by an Apprenticeship Assessor
  • In-house mentorship provider by managers
  • Functional Skills in English and maths, if applicable
  • In-house training programme provided by the employer
