What you will do in your working day

Whether its a Mechanical or Electrical apprenticeship, you will be paired with a Vogal Supervisor / leading hand. You will be working on a number of turnkey solutions operating across diverse business sectors throughout the UK for an ever-increasing customer portfolio, this will include:

  • Electrical Industrial & commercial installations
  • Plant & machinery maintenance
  • Mechanical fitting
  • Welding (all types) & Pipework Process.

The training you will be getting

  • EAL Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence).
  • EAL Level 3 NVQ Extended Diploma in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering – Pathway MMD: Fitting & Assembly
  • Pearson BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Technical Knowledge).
  • An apprenticeship standard certificate graded at pass, merit or distinction via an end point assessment.
  • Attendance at Peterborough college will be required.
  • Year 1: 2 days a week attendance at College
  • Year 2: 1 day a week attendance at College
  • Year 3: 1 day a week attendance at College
  • year 4: Fully work-based
