We are looking to recruit and apprentice to join our busy admin team at our Goole Salerooms. The successful candidate will be helping with accounts, reception and a variety of duties that help our auctions and stock management run smoothly. With a keen eye for detail, order and completing tasks, the successful candidate will also enjoy meeting people.

    Exact shifts are to be confirmed (TBC). The role is full-time and extends to other areas of our business such as helping with deliveries and collections, supporting staff on auction days and playing an active part in our Saturday auctions and events held six times per year.

What you will do in your working day

  • Inputting sales and purchase invoices
  • Online banking and accounting systems

The training you will be getting

Upon completing the Apprenticeship, you will have gained a Level 3  Business Administrator Apprenticeship Qualification. 

All learning will be done in house, except half a day every week where you will be either in the college or on teams. 

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

The possibility of progression is to be discussed (TBD).

The administration role may be a gateway to further career opportunities, such as management or senior support roles.

About the employer

Spicer’s Auctioneers Ltd, Goole. We are auctioneers and valuers and have been trading since 2018 having bought the business whilst in service for Dee, Atkinson, Harrison of Driffield (DAH). In 2021 we moved the business, renamed Spicer’s Auctioneers, to Goole. Moving away from the established premises part of the purchase agreement with DAH as the building was to be re-developed. We are general auctioneers of antiques, jewellery, watches, furnishings, ceramics, cars, motorcycles and collectables.
