What you will do in your working day

Day to day duties will include:

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the salon throughout the day
  • Preparing clients for their services
  • Shampoo, condition and rinse hair
  • Reception duties such as answering telephone calls and making appointments
  • Colouring, styling and cutting the hair
  • Assisting and observing the stylists to gain knowledge of the different techniques

The training you will be getting

  • Level 2 Diploma for Hair Professional (Hairdressing)
  • Functional skills in maths and English to Level 2 (if required)
  • You will receive in house training from the tutor completing all theory and practical training in hairdressing, covering all of the core elements of the Level 2 Hair Professional
