Renthal Ltd is offering an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to join their ever growing team for the role of Machining Technician Apprentice. The successful candidate will become part of the machining team working with a range of turning, milling and CNC machinery and will undertake a Level 3 Apprenticeship with Tameside College.

Annual wage
£14,560 a year

The pay may be negotiated and may rise after a probation period has been successfully completed.

Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30 Fridays 07:30 - 13:30

40 hours a week

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Training will be delivered by a combination of all round training in the machine shop and will also involve attending Tameside College for one day a week.
  • On succesful completion of your apprenticeship you will achieve the Level 3 Engineering Technician Apprenticeship standard - Toolmaker and Tool and Die Maintenance Technician pathway. 
  • Qualifications include;
    • Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence)
    • Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence)
    • Level 3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge)
