You will be required to load bricks and block, keeping the site tidy, with the potential to joint up face work and lay to a line. What you will do in your working day

Working in and around Radstock and the surrounding areas, your daily duties will include:

  • Mixing Mortar.
  • Load out bricks and blocks.
  • Keep the site clean and tidy.
  • Follow working instructions.
  • Work and adhere to all health and safety requirements.
  • Potential to joint up face work and lay to a line.

The training you will be getting

  • Level 2 Bricklaying Apprenticeship qualification.
  • Training will be delivered one day per week, term time only, at our Somer Campus in Radstock.
  • English and Maths Functional Skills (if required).

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • After succesful completion of the apprenticeship you will become a qualified Bricklayer.

JRV Bricklaying is a Soletrader, running a small local masonry firm that specialises in brick/block and stone work walling. Mainly building houses for small developers in and around the Radstock area.
