What you will do in your working day

Main roles & responsibilities:

  • Jig & product design
  • Laser sheet & Tube programming and operation
  • CNC bending programming
  • Robot Welding programming and operation

The training you will be getting

  • Machining Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
  • Training will take place at Printworks Campus, Leeds
  • You will be at college one day per week for your training
  • Training schedule has yet to be agreed upon, further details will be made available at a later date

About the employer

Founded in 1947, Olicana has evolved into a specialist provider of tubular metal products. We produce a high quality service and supply parts to a number of different industries. We also have a powder coating facility onsite. Olicana is often asked by customers to provide complete product solutions. This will include providing all associated products and the finishing of the product for example high quality chrome plating.
