You'll document vehicle quality checks on arrival, arrange preparation with suppliers, take photos and videos for online ads, handle sales inquiries, process orders, invoice, and conduct final quality checks before customer handover.

    Tuesday - Friday, 8.00am - 5.30pm and Saturday, 8.00am - 5.00pm with 60 minutes lunch.

What you will do in your working day

  • Quality check stock
  • Prepare stock for display
  • Photograph, video and check description of stock for internet marketing

Utilise Database Management System to:

  • Respond to and document sales enquiries in person, via telephone and via e-mail
  • Process and document sales orders
  • Process and document sales invoices
  • Prepare cars for delivery/ collection
  • Complete handover documentation
  • Receive, document and escalate complaints
  • Ensure vehicles are collected/ delivered within 14 days of the date of order
  • Encourage customers to leave positive reviews on Autotrader and Google
  • Eliminate unnecessary aftersales complaints
  • Maintain and enhance the positive reputation of the business
  • Keep the forecourt and sales office clean and tidy
  • Store vehicle log/service books and keys securely
  • Customer information must be stored securely to ensure it is not divulged to any unauthorised person

The training you will be getting

  • You will work towards the Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard with Gateshead College

Things to consider

Driving license is an essential requirement as all members of staff are required to move cars. Must be able to reliably commute to Chester Le Street.
