    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

    Minimum Wage Rates

    Monday - Friday: 8 Hours per day and you get a 30-minute unpaid lunch and 2 x 15 paid breaks each day.

    Total hours per week: 37.5

What you will do in your working day

  • Receive incoming deliveries.
  • Unload incoming deliveries.
  • Organise stock in the Goods In Overflow area.
  • Organise and replenish stock in picking bays for packers.
  • Report any damage/faults/shortages with incoming shipments or products with the line manager.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment.

The training you will be getting

You will gain a Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship at the end of the course.

Training will take place remotely via teams with a dedicated vocational tutor. You will also be required to complete some independent learning in addition to monthly sessions.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

The successful apprentice will be offered a permanent opportunity with the chance to learn new skills via additional training programmes.
