What you will do in your working day

  • Plan introduction of new materials to agreed timelines
  • Be able to source products with suppliers
  • Negotiating terms and pricing with suppliers
  • Organise travel arrangements for internal staff
  • Ensure all pricing is kept up to date and resolve any pricing queries in a timely manner
  • Ongoing management of D365 ERP, including creation new purchase orders, setting up new parts, managing obsolete / out of date lines and reviewing lead times with suppliers
  • Maintain call off order within the ERP
  • Monitor and chase late deliveries and identify where suppliers service level is below expectation
  • Provide Holiday cover for the department
  • General administration tasks

The training you will be getting

  • Upon successful completion of this apprenticeship the right candidate will have completed the Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship standard
  • Percy Lane Products are located in Tamworth, Staffs
  • This apprenticeship will be delivered in the workplace with the support of the employer and the Training Provider visiting the workplace on a regular basis

Upon successful completion of this apprenticeship, there is the opportunity of a permanent position for the right candidate.
